Meet Our Principal

Welcome to our school! My name is Tenisha Allen, and I am honored to continue serving as the proud principal of J.N. Ervin Elementary School. At Ervin, we are committed to fostering a learning environment rooted in excellence and  high expectations for all students.

With 20 years of experience in education, I have had the privilege of serving as a  teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and principal. Each of these roles has deepened my passion for creating spaces where every child is valued and challenged to reach their fullest potential. As a Dallas ISD graduate, I am continually driven by a belief in the power of public education to transform lives.

At J.N. Ervin Elementary, we believe that strong relationships with families and the community are the foundation of student success. I am dedicated to working collaboratively with our outstanding teachers, staff, and parents to ensure that every student receives a high-quality education that prepares them for college, career, and life beyond the classroom.
